The Crossing of Manitowoc County
The Crossing of Manitowoc County is a non-profit, Christian-based organization with a mission to provide emotional, educational, material, and spiritual support to clients, empowering them to become strong and resilient families.
Our programs are designed to serve both women and men facing pregnancy in the variety of situations presented in our community: teens and twenty-somethings, men and women, married and unmarried, first baby or fifth baby.
We offer a growing variety of services to meet our changing client needs, including a medical clinic that provides free limited obstetrical ultrasound examinations. All of our services are free, confidential and non-judgmental. Our goal is to help clients make an informed decision by helping them to understand what they are feeling and what their options are.
Earn While You Learn
Earn While You Learn helps prepare parents- both men and women, about prenatal development, infant health,
parenting techniques and life skills. Participants earns “dollars” that can be redeemed for baby supplies/clothing from our Boutique and Pantry.
We also offer referrals and resources for: housing, financial assistance, domestic violence, adoption, spiritual growth and employment.
Babies Ride Safe
Car seats provide the earliest of care and safety for our children. The Crossing is so grateful to WPS Foundation, The Good Shepherd Fund and The Hutchens family for their generous donation towards our Babies Ride Safe Program. This program provides convertible car seats that grow with the child from rear facing harness (4-50 lbs.) to front facing harness (22-65 lbs.).
Our clinic performs free obstetrical ultrasound exams for pregnancy verification. We also offer free pregnancy tests, STI/STD testing/treatment, adoption referrals and after abortion healing care.
