The Crossing Welcomes New Nurse Manager, Strengthening Medical Services for Local Families

The Crossing of Manitowoc County is pleased to welcome Michelle Anderson as our new Nurse Manager, helping ensure that women and families in our community can continue to receive compassionate, life-affirming medical care and support.
Michelle joined The Crossing in September and brings a heart for nursing and a passion for caring for women, babies, and families. Her experience and compassion make her a wonderful addition to our team, and we are excited about what her leadership means for the future of our Medical Clinic.
Continuing Care for Families in Our Community
The Crossing's Medical Clinic is an important part of how we walk alongside families. Through the clinic, women can receive pregnancy testing and verification, ultrasounds, nurse consultations, STI testing and treatment, and compassionate support as they navigate pregnancy and parenthood.
With Michelle leading our Medical Clinic, The Crossing can continue providing these services and remain a trusted place where women know they will be welcomed, cared for, and supported.
"Having Michelle join our team means we can continue providing the medical care and personal support our clients depend on," said Belinda Esquinas, Executive Director of The Crossing. "Her compassion, nursing experience, and commitment to life-affirming care are a wonderful fit for The Crossing. We are excited about what this means for the women and families we serve."
But medical care is only part of what happens at The Crossing. A medical appointment can be the beginning of a relationship. It gives our team an opportunity to listen, build trust, identify needs, and connect women and families with additional resources and support.
That is why having strong nursing leadership is so important. Michelle's role will help The Crossing continue not only providing medical services, but also building the relationships that allow us to support families beyond the clinic.
We are grateful to the many community members, churches, organizations, and donors who make t
his work possible. Your support allows The Crossing to continue investing in our Medical Clinic and providing life-affirming care to families throughout Manitowoc County.
We are excited to welcome Michelle to The Crossing and look forward to the many lives she will touch through her work with our clients.
